This Privacy Policy applies to Venue Accounts — business owners, operators, and their authorised team members who register and use the Taployalty platform.
Important: Taployalty is a business-to-business (B2B) platform. We do not directly collect, store, or process data belonging to the end customers of Venues (i.e., loyalty card holders). Venues are independently responsible for their own customers' data and must maintain their own privacy policies governing that relationship.

When you register and use Taployalty, we collect the following:

- Phone number (optional)
- Password (encrypted and never stored in plain text)
Billing Information
- Billing address
- Payment method details (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Subscription plan and transaction history
Usage Data
- Pages visited and features used within the platform
- Login timestamps and session activity
- Device type, browser type, and IP address
- Error logs and performance data

- Messages sent to our support team
- Email correspondence with us
- Responses to surveys or feedback requests (if any)
4. How We Use Your Data

- Obtaining any necessary consents from your customers
- Complying with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction
Taployalty processes end-customer data only as a data processor, acting on your instructions, and solely to the extent necessary to deliver the loyalty platform functionality.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account:
- Account data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days
- Billing records are retained for 7 years for legal and financial compliance
- Backup copies may persist for up to 30 additional days before full deletion
9. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
- Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only
- Regular security reviews and monitoring
